MGM’s College of journalism & Mass Communication was established in 1993 and ever since has relentlessly been working towards carving a professional out of a student who then is equipped to contribute ethically to serve the society.  The journey of a student at MGM’s college of Journalism and Mass Communication is a journey towards excellence in mass media ( Print / Electronic) by a combined input from qualified faculties & industry professionals.
Realizing that media communication has managed a deep penetration in the everyday lives of the takers (audience/viewers), constant innovation, creative thoughts, thorough research, good presentation, technical inputs become a pre-requisite for a successful career in the media industry.  We ensure that this industry requirement gets fulfilled by 100% at MGM College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Our students at MGM are encouraged to take up projects in the untouched rural areas too in addition to city projects. The curriculum of Journalism and Mass Communication emphasizes on developing skills of gathering, evaluating and disseminating information via various theories, laws, history and professional guidelines for mass media.
We a re proud  that in the past year, our students won an award for their documentary film   “Maharashtra ki Madya Rashtra” at the national level documentary film festival.
